Crochet Pattern: 5 Halloween Goodie Bags

Crochet these cute little goodie bags to make the perfect Halloween party favors. This set includes 5 different bag patterns: candy corn, pumpkin, ghost, Frankenstein, and witch. Each bag is crocheted in the round and designed with a drawstring at the top. Basic embroidery skills are required for the Frankenstein and witch bag.



Finished Size: each bag is 5” (12.5 cm) wide, 6” (15 cm) tall when flat

Skill Level: Easy (candy corn, and pumpkin), Intermediate (ghost, Frankenstein, and witch)

Materials:
Medium Weight Yarn (Approximately 50 yards or less of each color, depending on pattern)
Crochet Hook I (5.50 mm)
Yarn needle (depending on pattern) 		crochet yarn size 4

    How long, approximately, does each one take?

      It’s hard to say, because everyone crochets at a different speed. For me I’d estimate 15 mins for the easy bags and maybe 30 mins for the intermediate level ones. I wouldn’t say I’m a super fast crocheter but not really slow either. Keep in mind these are small goodie bags, but the more difficult ones may time more time to add the details to.

    Hi Rachel,
    I love these, they are adorable! I had one question for you…
    For the witch bag it says Left Eye (make 2) and Right Eye (make 2). Are you supposed to put a face on each side of the bag or are you just supposed to make one eye each? Thanks. 🙂

      Hi Julia, I’m so glad you mentioned that! It’s a typo, you only need one of each eye. I corrected the pattern and uploaded the new version to the website so it can be redownloaded if desired. Let me know if you see anything else that’s off.
