Crochet Pattern: Butterfly Net Wristers

By Candace – 7 Comments
These wristers are open and fun, much like the wings of a butterfly. These make a great spring or summer project especially when made with cooler fibers in bright, vibrant colors.

The combination of mesh and butterfly stitch make these a quick project for those who want instant gratification.

Are the butterfly net wristlets made using more than one strand of yarn?

Yesterday I asked about butterfly net wristlets, as to whether they are made using more than one strand of yarn……if so, how many? Didn’t see there was an option to be notified by email of a response……now I see it!

Just wondered about this crocheted butterfly-net wrister and thought that it might be a cooler option to use a different colored cotton yarn as opposed to the fingering yarn. I am always perspiring a lot in the summer even on my arms, so this would be a nice way to soak that up and still remain well-dressed without having to change clothes and have the fingering yarn sopping wet. I have very dry skin, but because I have to use lotions to moisturize and sunscreen as well, the cotton yarn might take up the slack and soak up the moisture of those kinds of situations. Looking forward to trying this to prevent my watch from giving me a rash from my allergy to the stainless steel or other metals.
