This choker style necklace really lives up to its name, but experienced crocheters can easily adjust the size by adding more fans. It can also be lengthened by adding chain–crochet or otherwise.

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 13 1/2″ (34.5 cm) long, 3/4″ (2 cm) wide

Materials: Size 10 Crochet Thread (approximately 15 yards) Crochet Hook 1 (2.25 mm) 14 beads Clasp

Gauge:
17 sc = 3″
8 rows = 1/2″
Gauge Swatch: 3″l x 1/2″w (7.5 cm x 1.5 cm) ch 25.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, (sk 3 ch, 4 dc in next ch, dc w/bead in same ch, 3 dc in same ch, sk 3ch, sc in next ch) to end
Finish off.

Crochet Pattern: Beaded Fan Necklace
String the beads.
Row 1: ch 113, sc in 2nd ch from hook, (sk 3 ch, 4 dc in next ch, dc w/bead in same ch, 3 dc in same ch, sk 3 ch, sc in next ch) across : 127 sts
Row 2: sl st in first sc, sl st in next 3 dc, (dc2tog, ch 9, sk 7) across, sk 1, sl st in next sc: 135 sts
Finish off.
