Valentine’s Day is coming up, and it’s a good time to show someone you care. Crocheting a heart is a great way to let someone know you’re thinking of them with a handmade gift. For an extra treat, you can leave a hole in the back and stuff the heart with chocolates or other goodies.

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 5 1/2″ (12.5 cm) tall, 5 1/2″ (12.5 cm) wide

Materials: Bulky Weight Yarn (approximately 25 yards) Crochet Hook K (6.50 mm)

Gauge:
Rounds 1 – 3 in pattern measure 2 1/2″ (6.5 cm) in diameter

Crochet Pattern: Stuffed Heart
Round 1: make adjustable ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, sl st in first sc: 6 sc
Round 2: ch 2 (counts as 1 hdc now and throughout), hdc in first sc, 2 hdc in each sc around, sl st in first sc: 12 hdc
Round 3: ch 2, hdc in first hdc, 2 hdc in each hdc around, sl st in first hdc: 24 hdc
