Rounds 1 – 4 in pattern measures 2 1/2″ (6.5 cm) across

Crochet Pattern: Lucky Star Motif
Round 1: make adjustable ring, ch 3, (dc, hdc) 5 times in ring, sl st in first dc: 10 sts
Round 2: ch 7, skip 2 sts, 2 sl st in next dc, (ch 7, skip 1 st, 2 sl st in next st) around until 1 st remains, ch 7, skip 1 st, sl st in first dc of previous round: 35 ch
Round 3: ch 2, hdc in each ch around: 35 sts
Round 4: ch 2, (hdc in next 3 hdc, 3 dc in next hdc, hdc in next 3 hdc) around: 45 sts
