If you like to play with color, these earrings are great for experimenting with combinations. Two squares in one are made by adding another color along two edges of the first. They are a good way to use up any scraps you may have in your stash that are looking for a project.

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 1″ (2.5 cm) square

Materials: Fine Weight Yarn (approximately 5 yards of each color) Crochet Hook B (2.25 mm) Earwires

Gauge:
Earring measures 1″ (2.5 cm) square

Crochet Pattern: Corner Square Earrings (make 2)
Round 1: make adjustable ring, ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), 7 dc in ring, sl st in top of beginning ch-3: 8 dc
Round 2: ch 1, (sc in next sc, 3 sc in next sc) around, sl st in first sc: 16 sc
Row 3: ch 1, sc in next 4 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc: 11 sc
Row 4: ch 1, turn, sc in next 5 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc: 13 sc
Finish off. Attach to earwires.
