Crochet Pattern: Open Tunisian Scarf
By Candace – 5 CommentsLight, airy scarves are great for fall weather, and this skinny Tunisian crochet scarf with a natural bias fits the bill with its open pattern and lightweight yarn. This pattern requires familiarity with basic Tunisian crochet as well as the Tunisian double crochet and Tunisian bar stitches. |

You have very nice patterns, thanks for sharing them!
Have a nice day 🙂
I am having trouble reading the directions, can you please clarify?
In row 1 after chaining 22, what do you mean by pull up a loop in each chain across? Is it like making single crochet stitches?
In row 2, what does after the tdc stiches, what do you mean by yarn over 4 stitches? Is it like chain 4 stitches?
Thank you so much. I am just a little confused as with the directions.
Syl
Hi Sylvia!
To pull up a loop in each chain across, please see the beginning of this tutorial (steps 1 – 8): http://www.crochetspot.com/how-to-crochet-tunisian-simple-stitch-tss/
Yarn over means to wrap the yarn around your hook. So when it asks you to yarn over 4 times, you’ll wrap your yarn around your hook 4 times.
Hi,
when I do Tunisian crochet I have my first and last rows curl up, any secret to keeping them smooth? Thanks for any help you can give me.
