Crochet Pattern: Pop-Out Flower
Round 1: make adjustable ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, sl st in first sc: 6 sc
Round 2: ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, sl st in first sc: 12 sc
Round 3: ch 1, (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, sl st in first sc: 18 sc
Round 4: ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st in first sc: 18 sc
Round 5: ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, sl st in first sc: 36 sc
Round 6: ch 15, skip 5 sc, sl st in next sc, (sl st in next sc, ch 15, skip 4 sc, sl st in next sc) around: 101 sts
Round 7: ch 1, (8 sc, ch 3, 8 sc) in each ch-space around, sl st in first sc: 114 sts

Rachel, this is a really cute flower! I’m thinking – once you get it done as written, maybe pick up a thread again in the middle of the chain five and do another set of petals? I think you’d want to do it on the back, but experimenting is good! It would give a bit more dimension. You could even go a little bit longer on the back or short on the front. I haven’t tried it, I just looked at it and saw it with more petals. Good one!
