Crochet Pattern: Snowflake Mug Cozy
By Amy Yarbrough – 7 CommentsThe cool days are coming, or already here for some, which means that hot tea in the morning is even more necessary than before, or so we tea drinkers would have you believe. Mug cozies are the funnest way to accessorize your mug because you can design them any way you might choose. There are a handful of ways to make them, but all are very simple and enjoyable. Here is one using some simple stitches and some wintry embellishments! The pattern is made to fit an average size mug, but squeeze it over a taller mug and you might like it just as well. |

This is a great pattern… Sony and quick. Great for teacher Christmas gifts or last minute gifts and can be adjusted to fit any season or reason for a gift. Thanks for sharing!

Cuuuute! Love the embroidery!
I would like to know how to knit around the cup handlle at the botton and at the top of the handle.
Thank.
Hello Demers,
The way to crochet the handle opening is simply by skipping sts and turning instead of working the complete round. For a picture of what this looks like, see more pictures here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/snowflake-mug-cozy
