Crochet Pattern: Shell Bracelet

This bracelet is a quick accessory that is easy to adjust for smaller or larger wrists and is perfect for wearing with sundresses. Shells always seem to make any pattern look more delicate, and the pearl bead closure is an even daintier touch. Feel free to make a bunch in different colors! crochet_shell_bracelet

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 1 1/4″ (3 cm) wide, 7″ (18 cm) long

Materials:
Light Fingering Weight Yarn (approximately 25 yards)
Crochet Hook E (3.50 mm)
6 mm Bead 		crochet yarn size 1

Gauge:
Rounds 1 – 2 in pattern measure 1 1/4″ (3 cm) wide by 7″ (18 cm) long

Crochet Pattern: Shell Bracelet
Round 1: ch 37, 3 sc in second ch from hook ch, sc in next 33 ch, 3 sc in last ch, working in bottom/opposite side of the chain, 3 sc in next ch, sc in next 33 ch, 3 sc in last ch, sl st in first sc: 78 sc
Round 2: ch 3, 3 dc in first sc, sc in next sc, skip 2 sc, 5 dc in next sc, (skip 4 sc, 5 dc in next sc) 6 times, skip 2 sc, dc in next sc, 3 dc in each of next 2 sc, sc in next sc, skip 2 sc, 5 dc in next sc, (skip 4 sc, 5 dc in next sc) 6 times, skip 2 sc, dc in next sc, 3 dc in last sc, (sl st, ch 3, sl st) in first dc: 84 dc

Finish off. Sew bead to the end of the bracelet on the right side opposite the loop.

    Does this slip into the wrist? Or has a clap? Or elastic ? It would help to adjust different sizes pl explain.

    I have the same question as Varsha. I love the bracelet however it is way too big for my wrist. I understand the concept of the loop & bead closure. I’m confused about where to put the bead to achieve a shorter length.

    How many stitches could I subtract from the beginning 36 and still keep the beautiful pattern?
