Crochet Art at the 2012 Olympics
By Rachel Choi – 8 CommentsI read somewhere on the web that 12 artist will be selected to make art work for the 2012 Olympics in London. One of the top artist that is being considered proposed to make three 30 feet tall crocheted lions that will be posed into athletic positions. 30 feet tall lions, that’s a lot of yarn!!! |

What do you think?
Wow, sounds cool! I wonder what they will do with those lions after the games (it would be nice to have one in my front garden lol)

That sounds so-o-o-o fantastic!! I can hardly wait for the olympics to see that
WOW. Maybe they will have folks scheduled to do a row or two. Maybe send in squares . . .

Though I really like the people making squares idea too! 🙂
