Crochet Pattern: Spoked Snowflake
By Candace – 8 CommentsAs the year draws to a close, some people are already experiencing winter’s chill and seeing snow ranging from flurries to full-on ground-covering falls. Whether you associate snow with warm pajamas and hot chocolate or with shoveling and traffic delays, there’s one thing you’ll be hard-pressed to deny: the beauty of the snowflake. |

I think round 6 is missing a ch 3 after the tr
Thanks for pointing it out, Andi. It’s been updated.
Shouldn’t round 3 end with only 12 stitches? If round 2 has 12 and you are putting a doc in each sc, there should only be 12, right? Do the chain 3’s count as a dc?
I went back and put 2dc, cn1 in every sc in Round 3. Everything went well except in Round 5, where I end up with 42 stitches instead of 48, but the fpdc are remaining the same. What am I doing wrong?
Hi, Linda.
Round 3 is correct as written. It looks like you aren’t counting the chains made in either round.
Candace, sorry. I am used to patterns saying 12 sc’s and 12 chains. I got it now. Going to try it again. Thanks
Finished the snowflake easily, and it is beautiful. Thank you for your help. I need to highlight certain points of patterns at first, don’t I? Thanks
I’m always happy to help. I’m glad you got it finished!
