Crochet Pattern: Ginevra Scarf

By Candace – 11 Comments
This scarf pattern actually came to be after I participated in a knitting mini challenge in which I got to try out the shaping for various types of shawls. I really enjoyed the asymmetrical shape, and knew that I needed to do a crochet project that used the same shaping. Between the eyelet pattern and the simple triangular shaping, the scarf has plenty of visual interest while being easy to work. crochet_ginevra_scarf

Hi, Candace. This scarf seems very interesting, but I really can’t see the details. Could you please load one or two images?
The best would be one “flat”, and one worn. Or is there a website where I could see it? Many thanks!

Hi! I love the look of your Ginevra scarf!
I’ve just started working on it and have a question:
The notes say stitch count increases by 1 on every odd row, but on rows 4-13 (and beyond?) I am increasing on every row because of the
Even: “sc2tog” adds a stitch and the
Odd: “2 sc in first sc” adds a stitch
Am I misunderstanding?! What am I doing wrong so I don’t add a stitch every row!?
    Thanks for your help,
    Kaya
