Watch Knit and Crochet Today Online
By Rachel Choi – 12 Comments| PBS has a show called “Knit and Crochet Today” where they do fun crochet and knit projects. Each episode is about a half hour long and is filled with tips and tricks from people in the crochet and knit industry. I was never able to catch it on my PBS station, but now I realize that it’s available to watch online for FREE.

Thanks, Rachel. I just tried to watch one and there is a huge gold X across the screen and the announcer says “Flix Demo” about every 10 seconds. I am sure this is to prevent unauthorized reproduction but it sure is annoying the way it interferes with the demo. Did anyone else experience this? Maybe it is just that way on my PBS Channel.

I was so excited when I read this, Rachel – becuz my local PBS does not air the program. However! I am not able to view the videos at all. 🙁 Also, when I click on Archives, it does not show 200 episodes. So my excitement is gone; disappointment has replaced it. 🙁

Thanks Rachel. I learnt a new variation of the double crochet thru one of the videos. For some reason I am not able to fast forward thru the knitting sections.. but its worth the wait.

I searched for a way to watch the Knit & Crochet Now! show for free. I followed the links online and realized this show is a PBS produced program.
I was so excited for the possibility to be able to watch this program for free (as it was promoted), but sadly no episodes were free, I could only watch Knit & Crochet Now! for a $24.95 annual fee!
This is false advertising and is especially disappointing as Knit & Crochet Now! is a PBS program.
Can anyone offer a solution?
