Aww so cute! I’m going to start my little Timmy right now. I’m thinking I can give one to each of the kiddies this Thanksgiving. Thanks for the awesome pattern!
Oh my gosh Rachel what a cute turkey..Very nice…Another nice pattern…
Too CUTE!!!!
Soooooo cute! Turkeys are such hilarious creatures to crochet. I’ll be sure to use this. Thanks!!! 😉
Hey Rachel….your’s is the cutest turkey pattern I’ve seen so far…and I’ve been looking for one! keep up the good work.
I started this last night, and got the body and head done and stuffed, and have made both wings and one leg! The feet are SO cute! Love the three little toes! The only thing I think I’m going to do differently is to use sport weight yarn for the beak and make two and sew together to make an upper and lower beak…and to extend the wattle to above the beak. I’m planning on making 2 …one for each of my grand-nieces. am going to San Antonio to visit them over Thanksgiving. Guess I’ll have to make each one a slightly different color tho…so they won’t get mixed up! Thanks so much for the excellent pattern, Rachel. Well worth the price of the pattern!
what kind of yarn and what colors did you use, I reallt like the colors used
Hi Bananas, here’s what I used:
light brown: read heart soft yarn in wheat
dark brown: Vanna’s choice in toffee
orange: caron simply soft in persimmon
red: caron simply soft in autumn red
yellow: caron simply soft in sunshine (not too sure about the exact color name for this one, I threw the label out!)
You don’t have to use exactly what I used 🙂
Thanks, I know I can use my own colors, I just really like the turkey with the colors you used. 🙂
