Crochet Pattern: Chevron Basket
Posted in Best Crochet Patterns on May 31st, 2015 by Rachel Choi – 2 CommentsIf you love the chevron pattern, here is a basket just for you! The basket is crocheted in the round from the bottom up. You can make it as big or as small as you like using the instructions within the pattern to adjust its size. Make it big enough to store your craft projects or small enough to use as a pencil holder. Being able to adjust the width and length of the basket makes the possibilities endless! The chevrons created in this pattern have sharp, crisp, pointy corners. Feel free to use more than 2 colors if desired. |

Crochet Pattern: Glamour Lace Wristers
Posted in Best Crochet Patterns on May 23rd, 2015 by Amy Yarbrough – 1 CommentNothing brings out the full potential of summer crochet like lace. The patterns are endless and the stitches so very unique. These glamorous wristers are perfect for days when the weather is just too warm for a “regular” piece of crochet work. The palms are open and the gloves are secured by a finger loop and buttons at the wrist. Dress up or down with these decorative wristers. They would even look great for a bride’s wedding! |

Crochet Pattern: Fish in Ocean Afghan
Posted in Best Crochet Patterns on May 11th, 2015 by Rachel Choi – 1 CommentHere is a fun, fishy afghan for kids or for fish lovers! The stitch pattern creates a wavy water look by using a variety of different stitch heights and alternating between two colors of blue. Feel free to use more than two shades for a more detailed look. The fish are crocheted separately and then sewn onto the afghan. Crochet as many fish in as many colors as you desire. The afghan shown in the photo is baby size, but the pattern has instructions for adjusting the size to create any size you like from baby blankets to throws to bed spreads. |

Crochet Pattern: Vintage Doll Bathing Suit and Bag
Posted in Best Crochet Patterns on April 26th, 2015 by Amy Yarbrough – 2 CommentsIf you have ever looked at vintage pictures, you’ve most likely seen some cute ones of little children in the adorable clothing of that period. The bathing suits of 100 years ago can often be laughable to us, but my favorite era for bathing suits of all kinds would have to be between the 40’s and 60’s. This doll bathing suit was inspired by a rather average style from a time around these periods. The suit is very easy to make, has a tie for the top and a cute bag for bringing things to the beach. The swimsuit will fit most standard dolls and can be lengthened for taller dolls. |

Crochet Pattern: Doll Blouse and Jumper
Posted in Best Crochet Patterns on April 12th, 2015 by Amy Yarbrough – Be the first to commentWhen I was a little girl, there was nothing I liked more than making my own doll clothes. Today, I may not play with dolls, but the ability to crochet for the little one’s that do is even more satisfying. The blouse is worked from the top down and attached in the back with buttons. The jumper has two buttons for the straps and an easy-to-make, full skirt. Sizing is for average sized baby dolls with measurements to be more exact. The blouse and jumper can easily be lengthened by adding more rows for taller dolls if needed. |
