Crochet Pattern: Classic Baby Mittens

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! Classic thumb-less baby mittens are easy and fast to crochet. This simple pattern can be crocheted in a variety of boy and girl colors to add to your baby’s wardrobe. Don’t forget to get creative and add your own appliques or embellishments to the mittens to spice them up! The mittens are crocheted seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. Elastic is crocheted into the mittens at the cuffs so that the mittens will stay on when baby arms are wiggling.

They can be made in just about any size from babies, kids, to adults. You can use any weight of yarn you like to obtain thick or thin slippers. Feel free to add your own appliques or straps to the slippers to make them uniquely yours. This pattern is not written in a conventional manner since it is extremely adjustable, so there are progressive photos that you can follow as you crochet.

Crochet Pattern: Doll Shell Dress with Belt

The dress is crocheted all in one piece from the top down so there’s no sewing required. The contrasting belt is crocheted separately and is fastened with a button in the back. You will need to sew on the Velcro closure for the dress and the button for the belt. Get creative with this pattern by crocheting a few of these dresses in different colors! You can also crochet with more than one color to create stripes as well.

Crochet Pattern: Hooded Scarf Version 2 (3 Sizes)

This crochet pattern is exactly like my original Hooded Scarf crochet pattern, with the only difference being that this hood is curved and NOT pointed in the back. For folks who aren’t a fan of the point on the back of many hooded scarves, this pattern is for you! The hooded scarf features deep pockets on both sides and a ribbed edging along the front. The scarf and hood are designed to be wide and large to keep you extra warm during the winter.
