So cute! I think this will be my crochet project for this afternoon!
I finished a whole set yesterday! They were so fast to make. Thanks for such a great pattern, Rachel.
Aww I am SO happy you posted this. I recently moved into my own house and I really wanted to do my kitchen in an apple theme! These will be so cute done in green and yellow too! Thanks so much!
I just made one of these last night while watching (ok – listening to) my favorite TV show. I can’t wait to make some more so I have a full set. I’m also going to made a slightly larger version as a potholder. Elizabeth – love the idea of doing them in green and yellow. I will definitely try that. These are such a fun way to use up scraps of yarn. Thanks, Rachel!
Question: Does anyone know how I can add my picture onto my comments? Thanks in advance.

I love this pattern. My mother has her kitchen done in apples, as well as my mother in law and I’m making them both a set as a gift. I also liked Lorelei’s idea about a larger version for a potholder; I was thinking something similar ,like a center piece for the table.
This pattern is so adorable! I just made my first set, and I absolutely love ’em.

I can’t wait to make a few of these, my mother’s kitchen is done in apples!
I am sadly out of red yarn so these will be Green Apple coasters. Thanks Rachel!
Rachel, would these work as potholder in cotton yarn?
Hi Kristy, they might be a bit too small and too thin to be a potholder. But you can try making more than one and sewing them together.
I have 54 hdc in round four. Am I wrong?
Hi Danielle, you’re correct. Thanks for catching the typo in the pattern!
Oh, good I’m not crazy! I just got back from buying the most beautiful shades of apple colors so I can make these for my Mama, thanks so you much for sharing this super cuter pattern!
Hi Rachel,
I’m so happy to have joined your newsletter/email announcements list!
I’ve just looked over several patterns for small things like the circle bracelet, and I want to look over others like the flowers and coaster patterns for some quick gifts.
I have been crocheting headbands lately and have developed a pattern that I think is interesting. Maybe it’s been done before, but if not, I’d like to share it sometime when I can get the instructions written out. It confuses even me, so it will take some doing and I’ve never written patterns before. There are three of them on my Ravelry Projects page. Two are headbands for Hannah, and one is for her brother, Shae Scott. Hannah’s have flowers and Shae’s has bear ears. (I’ve used both of their names in the titles of the projects so they should be easy to find.)
Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Cheryl
Hi,
Made this beautiful coaster-instructions great-so easy to follow. Perfect although mine curls up slightly-what did I do wrong…confident that I followed pattern. Used double knit wool & 4.5 hook.
Thanks
Hi Vicki, you probably did do the pattern correctly if you’re confident that you did. Maybe you can block your coasters and it’ll straighten its self out. Here’s a post about blocking if you’re interested: Blocking Crochet

Hi Elizabeth, you can use the print function in your internet browsers. For most browsers you’ll go to the top menu bar and click “file”, then “print”. All the pages on Crochet Spot are coded to be printer friendly, so it should print out neatly using your browser’s print function.
My daughter told me today was her Kindergarten teacher’s birthday. It’ll be a day late, but 45 mins later I have a cute little gift for her to take tomorrow! Thank you so much!!! 🙂 keep posting 🙂
