Crochet Pattern: Barbie Doll Beanie
By Candace – 3 CommentsIt’s almost time for fiber crafters’ favorite part of the year, bringing out–and making– cool weather accessories. If it’s still a little warm in your neck of the woods for hats, gloves, and scarves, try starting out small and making accessories for your favorite plastic friends. A cute beanie is a simple way to add to a doll’s fall wardrobe without having to make a trip to the toy store. |

*fingers crossed * i have a question about this pattern, could you help me understand matching the gauge? first time ive ever commented on one! gosh i hope you reply! Im a beginner crocheter, and i got curious to what the “gauge” is in patterns, after some research i learnt its quite important in some! That explains why my attempt at the barbie beanie was WAY OFF in size!
Hello! Here is a post that explains gauge https://www.crochetspot.com/what-the-heck-is-a-gauge/
Hi Sarah,
This project is too small for a gauge swatch, so you’ll need to keep making it with different sized hooks to get it the right size.
