Crochet Pattern: Chic and Simple Neck Warmer
By Emilee Gettle – 10 CommentsI love to go for walks on fall evenings. Since the temperature has been dropping briskly, I like to have a little something around my neck to keep me toasty. I hate to pull out the full fledge scarf this time of year, so I decided a neck warmer would do just the trick. This project is so simple! Depending on the type of yarn you use, it can look dressy for a night out or it can be quite practical while you’re getting down and dirty winterizing. Not only do I love this pattern, but it even looks cute on my 3 year old daughter! |

So cute! What yarn is used?
Love, Love, Love it…nice and toasty…perfect!
This is beautiful! And I agree: sometimes it’s nice to grab something like this other than a long scarf.
I’ve made similar many times. Long scarves can be cumbersome.
wow, nice. which yarn did you use ? i noticed the yarn looks fuzzy .
Glad you all like this pattern! I know I sure do and today is the start to our cold weather, so I have a feeling I’ll be wearing it a lot! ๐ The yarn I used is an acrylic faux angora medium worsted weight. I can’t wear real angora, so this is the next best thing, plus it looks a little bit more high end, I think! ๐
[…] wrist cuffs coordinate with my Chic and Simple Neckwarmer pattern. They are really fast to crochet and it’s a great project for beginners. I love using […]
Do you have any suggestions on making the neckwarmer in child sizes? I specifically need help with 10 year olds and a 1 1/2 year old. I am just not sure if it should be the same width, and I don’t know what length either. Any help is appreciated.
I also would like to make one in a child size, preferably for a 3yr old.
I know this is from 2011, but were you working this at all just in back loops? I notice such a nice ridged look. Thanks for the nice pattern!
