Crochet Pattern: Classic Curtain Tie Back

This quick pattern uses good old, double crochet stitches that are worked around a long chain. It’s as plain and simple as it gets to match just about any decor you have. There are loops on each end of the tie back for you to secure it onto hooks. Feel free to adjust the length of the tie back if needed by using the instructions within the pattern. Choose a color that will complement your drapes, or perhaps a bold color to make it pop.

Skill Level: crochet skill level easy

Finished Size: 1″ (2.5 cm) wide, 12″ (30.5 cm) long
Note: Length can be adjusted to be as long or short as desired by using the instructions within the pattern.

Materials:
Medium Weight Yarn (approximately 10 yards)
Crochet Hook I (5.50 mm)
crochet yarn size 4

Gauge:
Rows 1 – 2 in pattern measure 1″ wide and 12″ long.

Crochet Pattern: Curtain Tie Back
Row 1: ch 41 or a chain as long as the desired tie back, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in each ch across until 2 ch remain, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch: 40 sts
Row 2: ch 10, working on opposite side of ch, sc in next ch, hdc in next ch, dc in each ch across until 2 ch remain, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, ch 10, sl st in first sc on row 1: 60 sts
