Crochet Pattern: Classic Square Tissue Box Cover

By Rachel Choi – 6 Comments

This pattern is for a classic, plain cover, which I encourage you to decorate to make it your own. You can add a face, like I did in the Monster Tissue Box Cover, or even add stripes, or appliques. You’re only limited by your imagination! The pattern is crocheted from the top down, seamlessly in the round like a spiral.

Skill Level:

Finished Size:
5” (12.5 cm) x 5” (12.5 cm) x 5 1/2” (14 cm), fits over most standard square tissue boxes

Materials:
Medium Weight Yarn (approximately 100 yards)
Crochet hook I (5.50 mm)
Stitch marker (or safety pin, or scrap of contrasting yarn)
crochet yarn size 4

Gauge:
10 dc = 3″ and 4 rows = 2″
