This is a really good idea – I like to grab an apple before going out but what stops me is how it gets bruised in my handbag. This cute sweater would help with that, I’m going to make one with some scrap wool! Thanks for the idea <3 <3

Hi Rachel, I love this pattern and intend to use it for peaches. They are so soft that only a bump can bruise the flesh–this sweater is just the thing to keep them safe and fresh–hey, I just made a rhyme…lol. Thank you, Rachel, for another lovely and practical pattern for us all. Dawn

Thanks for this great pattern! It’s funny but also a really great idea, especially for peaches! (I must say the apples that we have here are quite firm).
Anyway, I wanted to aske you Rachel what kind of yarn I should use. I’ve got loads of coloured acrylic yarn, but would that be good to us or is cotton better?
Thanks for reading this and have a great day!

OK! Thanks for your advice! I found myself some leftover wool/silk yarn which will make a lovely fruit-cozy!
