Crochet Pattern: Gracie the Butterfly
By Candace – 3 CommentsGracie is a butterfly with an amigurumi body and open wings. She is a great addition to a child’s room and would look neat on a shelf or among other stuffed animals. The wings have a lot of shaping but intermediate crocheters should have no problem. The wings are crocheted separately and then sewn onto the main body. Feel free to mix and match colors to create a butterfly that is uniquely yours! |

Dear Rachel ,Always I like your ideas & pattern ,These are very great .Thank you so much 🙂
I’m trying to make a Cowel. I have ripped it out 3 times. Getting very discouraged. I have to chain 78 stitches & join. Then half double crochet the next row but I can’t seem to keep the first chain row straight & don’t realize it until I come to the end that they are not matching, it’s twisted. Any way I can be sure I don’t do Twist it again. Had troubled is that I have to crochet the stitches very loose so they twist & you don’t realize it until you’ve crochet to the end & gio to the end to connect.
Any hints on being sure it’s not twisted?
Thank you,
Rose
Rose, I like to gently run the chain through my fingers to be sure that it’s straight before joining. I hope that helps.
