Love this, did a red one.
Rachel do you have a Cross bookmark?
I (HEART) this heart!! I also became a fan on facebook. I am Tinkerbelle over there! 🙂
What brand of yarn do you use for your projects, I like that shiny look.
Doris, the yarn in this photo is Caron Simply Soft.
Hi,
I just crocheted this heart bookmark. It turned out so well. I have tried several other patterns lately but this one was easier and turned out looking great. THANKS!
Hi Rachel,
I am crazy about hearts and try every one I come across so I was excited to see the heart bookmark. Your example looks so good – did you block it? My heart is a little bumpy around row 4 and doesn’t quite blend with the top humps of the heart. Advice?
Thanks for your generous spirit!
Teresa
Hi Teresa, I didn’t block mine (out of laziness), but you can block yours, it’ll probably help.
My friend made me one from dark red crochet thread…so beautiful.
I’m kinda confused about row 6 (2dc, 4tr, 2sc) It is hard for me to imagine. My brain doesn’t register abstract well. & are the #s after the colon what you just did in each roll.
thanks
Sandddi
Hi Sandi, the “(2 dc, 4 tr, 2 dc) in next sc” will make one of the humps that’s on the top of the heart. You will make all the stitches that are in the ( ) into the next sc.
Thanks for the pattern Rachel. I did few of these heart bookmarks and it turned out well . Vry easy to crochet also….
Hi just made this heart without the bookmark tail. Using it to make 2 to crochet together and stuff with scented cotton to make sachets for drawers. Or make a chain to use to tie onto a coat hanger
I love this bookmark. I ended up completing this within maybe 5 minutes. Thank you for this quick an easy pattern .
