The coaster is quick to make once you have a handle on posts stitches and increasing stitches. Crochet a bunch of these flower coasters in a variety of colors for a fun looking collection.

Crochet Pattern: Hex Flower Coaster
Round 1: make adjustable ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, sl st in first sc: 6 sc
Round 2: ch 1, 12 sc in each sc around, sl st in first sc: 12 sc
Round 3: ch 2, (hdc in next sc, 2 fphdc in next sc) around, sl st in first hdc: 18 hdc
Round 4: ch 3, (dc in next hdc, 2 fpdc in each of next 2 hdc) around, sl st in first dc: 30 dc
Round 5: ch 3, (4 dc in next dc, fpdc2tog 2 times) around, sl st in first dc: 36 dc
Finish off.
