Crochet Pattern: Open Capelet

By Candace – 5 Comments
This capelet is light and airy, but it’s also surprisingly warm. It uses tall stitches, so it’s quick to work up and very open. The cape has a very loose drape but can be blocked or starched for a more crisp fabric.

Close it up with ties or a pin or leave it open for a more casual look.

I am definitely going to make the knot stitch capelet. I made a shawl years ago using this stitch but have lost the pattern. Thank you so much for sharing this. I do love your website.

On the row with 139 stitches… are you counting the stitches and the chains to make up the 139 stitches…. otherwise it is NOT 139 stitches.

    I may be just confused..
    Can you explain.
