This is a great stocking stuffer for all the gals on my Christmas list… I have to give this pattern a try. Thanks, Rachel, for all your tips, tricks, & great patterns.
Hi, I’m just preparing to make this right now so I’m reviewing your pattern. In rows 4-10 and 12-18, you mean, there’s no need to slip stitch at the end of each row so the absence of the slip stitch will provide the opening of the case. Am I imagining things right as I look at the photo of your product?
Gargenchef, there are no slip stitch at the ends of those rows because they are turned and worked back and forth instead of in the round.
Oh yes, Candace, thank you! I was able to finish it but made some adjustments in the length as I preferred it to be just long enough for lipsticks. I realized that the turning and working back and forth maintained the opening of the case. Hope to link back my work with you once I get the write up done.
