When I awoke there by my pillow was some sweet handmade goodies! Now it’s my turn, and as soon as my little girl awakes from her nap she’ll have these little cookies waiting for her. They are so easy to make and a lot of fun. You can whip up a batch in no time! Make a baker’s dozen and give in a small tin to a little one in your life. Don’t forget to take some for children on your baked good delivery route this holiday season! |  |

Round 1 in pattern measures 1/2″ (1 cm) in diameter.

Crochet Pattern: Sandwich Cookies
Make 2 brown and 1 white.
Round 1: Ch 4, sl st in first chain made to form a ring, ch 1, 10 sc in ring, sl st in top of beginning ch-1: 10 sc
Round 2-3: ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, sl st in top of beginning ch-1
Finish off.
Finishing
Sandwich creme between two chocolate layers and stitch together with embroidery floss.

Forgot to tell you. I used my regular brown yarn used for the cookie to sew one cookie to the “cream” inside–then I sewed the other cookie to the cream. The first time I did it they weren’t together. I found this to be easier.

your mother must be the greatest goddess, diva lady if she crocheted you sandwiches, i never heard of anybody doing that, u were so lucky i would luv to hear more of what she made, DOREEN
