The scarf is long enough to wear in a tied fashion around your neck and wide enough to drape over your shoulders. It looks great tied like an ascot with a light jacket and a t-shirt!

I purchased this pattern and I want to work this pattern with a heavier yarn. If I follow the basic chain length to get the 3 motifs per row, it is too wide for my liking. How many chains do I start off with if I want only 2 motifs per row?

Pavi, try chaining only 26 at the beginning.
