Crochet Pattern: Trundle the Hedgehog Applique
By Amy Yarbrough – 2 CommentsFor my second hedgehog appliqué I give you Trundle! (If you missed Hedgerly then click the link to check him out.) There are many ways to create simple little animals with basic crochet stitches. For this little guy, you crochet the body row by row by creating a half circle with picots for texture. Add the head and feet to the body with simple slip stitches, and an easy embroidery technique called the French knot for the eye. It’s great fun and you just can’t go wrong choosing hedgehogs! |

This is PERFECT! One of my daughters loves hedgehogs…to the point where she almost bought one as a pet….
Think I’ll make this and make a pin back on it for her…
What a brilliant idea! I might have to do that for myself. 🙂
Thanks for sharing your idea!
