How to Crochet: Entrelac (Part 2)
By Candace – 2 CommentsSo you’ve already set up your first row of crochet entrelac blocks. What’s next? Well that’s the easy part. It’s just like working in the chain in the first row except now you have stitches and the sides of stitches to work in.
If you haven’t completed your first row yet, check out the How to Crochet: Entrelac (part 1) tutorial or the How to Crochet: As-You-Go Entrelac tutorial.
If you’re a left-handed crocheter, hover over the photos for another view.
Once you’ve finished off your first row, take your new yarn and attach it at the top right (top left if you’re left-handed) corner of your first square then
Ch 1, sc in each sc across, sl st in side of adjoining block.
Sl st in side of adjoining block, turn, sc in each sc across
Repeat these rows until the block is complete
Complete the remaining blocks in the same manner until you reach the last one.
For the last block, (ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn) for each row.
Finish off and you’re ready to do it all again for the next row.
