Last Minute Mother’s Day Gifts
By Rachel Choi – 4 CommentsDid you just realize Mother’s Day is right around the corner? If so, you’re not alone because I just realized it too! Here are a few crochet patterns that are fairly quick to work up and would make great Mother’s Day gifts.
Meaningful Note
If you’re really, really crunched for time, then this simple heart envelope will probably be your quickest gift. Keep in mind that the most important part of this gift is what you put inside the envelope. Writing a meaningful note to put inside might take a little more time than crocheting the envelope. Flowers
Yes, flowers are classic! Can’t go wrong here, especially if you crochet them and they can’t die from lack of water. Below are links to some stemmed flowers. Feel free to mix and match to make an entire bouquet of flowers or if you’re really crammed on time, just make one special flower.

Chocolate
You may think chocolate is more of a Valentine’s Day type of gift, but what chocolate lover wouldn’t like a box of chocolates? You can get a real box of chocolates, but if Mom is on a diet or if you just want to play a trick on her, crochet this neat box of chocolates instead! If you want to give something more personal, and less generic, there are a bunch of other quick and simple patterns, such as handbag, scarves, home decor times, etc., that are great as Mother’s Day gifts! Feel free to use the search box at the top of this page or feel free to roam the Archives.
Have fun crocheting your last minute Mother’s Day gifts and let us know what you’re making!!
I just wanted to tell you how great your site is! I am a crochet, and knit instructor. I have been crocheting for 50 years, and still love it. Have to get ready for class, or would spend more time to let you know how happy I am to have found this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be back, chrisD
I recently bought the calla lily and tulip patterns. They are great! So simple and beautiful! My mom loves handmade things and spends most of her time in the garden. So, its the best of the both for her and a flower arrangement that never needs watered and won’t die! Thanks so much!!
I’m making my mom the box of choclates! Thanks for sharing the pattern with us 🙂
I know shes going to just die when she sees it.
I am new to crocheting and learning from your site as I go. So excited, made two baby hats and now working on baby socks. First time ever following a pattern. Thank you
