The felted play mat looks so adorable! I’d love to be able to crochet this for my 9-month old.
Hi Rachel,
I would love to make the mobile:)
My best friend is pregnant and is due next month. I think this will be the most unique baby shower gift she will get!
Pavi
I’ve been drooling over this book since I first read the review. My first project would be the hooded capelet for my daughter, a preemie who also has Down Syndrome. Now one, she is still wearing 3-6 month clothes. While there are so many cute clothes for that size, sometimes it would be nice to have something that will help her look a little older. I taught myself to crochet so I could make hats for preemies at the NICU that took care of her for the first 11 weeks of her life. Now, I want to branch out from hats and make some fun things for her.
Rachel,
The pattern I’m really keen to try is the Striped Yoke Cardigan. It looks so cute!

Hi Rachel,
I’d love to make the Soft Owl Pillow. I just love owls!
I would Chose the Mobile. Being that at birth, your baby sees only in black and white and shades of gray and my little sister just had a baby I would love to contribute. I my self am married but unable to have kids with my husband; however; we are blessed with a 3 year old Nephew, 2 year old Niece and Now 4 month old Nephew, I am glad I can enjoy the experience of having a family through being a aunt and crocheting gifts. I hope to contribute learning/ and the art of crotchet to my new family members.
I love the mobile; it’s darling, and would make a wonderful gift. I wouldn’t mind hooking one for myself, too!
I’d really like to make the Tiny Tee’s appliques.
Stripe the giraffe! So cute! I know a little 3 year old who would think that is the coolest thing in the world!
I would love to make tho soft owl pillow. My grandma (98) is in love with everything that has to do with owls. She is an owl collector! so I would love to make her a pillow like this one!
I am in love with the Sweet Daisy Sundress! I would love to make that for my little girl!!!
This book is in my Amazon wishlist 🙂
Loving the owl pillow – definitely on my “to make” list.
Oh I love the cute ball and I would make it in bright cotton. It would be perfect for my 5 mo old baby girl. Plus, if her 3 yr old brother gets ahold of it I don’t have to worry about it breaking my TV!!!
I love the birdie mobile.
Oh my! I want to make one of everything! But if I have to choose just one, I have to say the ribbed cardigan! And then I would start on everything else. 🙂
Thanks!!
This book is a must have. Bought it a little over a week ago and I’m working on the mix and match motif blanket.
There were several patterns I’d want to make, but the strawberry party frock is my first pick. Cute!
The capelet is precious! I have a daughter and a niece I’d love to make it for.
I really want to make swing set cardigan, it is such a nice pattern
The owl pillow has me smitten.
The Sock-It-To-Me vest. I have a couple of boys who need matching vests!
This books looks awesome !!!
My favorite project is probably the little Hooded Capelet (probably because I always wanted one as a kid and never got to have one). But I have a friend expecting so I would probably make her the little “Sweet Dreams Sleep Sack” first.
I absolutely love the sweet daisy sundress, my little 2 year old granddaughter loves dresses and I would love the pattern to do this one for her..
I’d like to make the flower motifs, and sew them to t-shirts ’cause it’s something i’ve never tried.
I love the hooded capelet, but I can see my niece in all those cardigans and the strawberry dress
So awesome book!
I can’t wait to try the Mix and Match Motif Blanket. It’s so colorful and something kids take a long time to outgrow.
The 1st project i would LOVE to attempt to do/make is the Hooded Capelet. This jumped out to me because not only is is ADORABLE but its also can be made for a girl or a boy! Also when parents are trying to get there children ready this little gift is no fuss item that can help on those cold days/nights. Thats the project i would choose =)
The Mix and Match Motif Blanket is what I am looking forward to making. 😉 I love making blankets for kids and they are perfect gifts because of the customization that can be done with the colors, fibers, and style.
Linda Permann’s Hooded Caplet looks like a really fun project to make. I absolutely love the color combinations she chose. Her video is just too cute!
I’m excited for the Stripped Cardigan. My sisters nephew doesn’t have enough warm clothing that actually fits him cause he’s growing really fast. I figure, if I can make him something that I can add to later to keep it fitting him, she’ll be happy!
Hi Rachel,
I will love to make lots of soft balls for my boys to play inside the house, also stripe the giraffe it’s super cute
I would love the make the Mix and Match Motif Blanket. I love making blankets for my great nieces and nephews.
The star booties are adorable. I would also like to try my hand at one of the sweaters, I haven’t made any clothing before.
I love all the items. Now that I am going to be a grandma for the second time, I am on the lookout for new and unusual items to crochet. I really like the Sunshine blanket, but the Birdie Mobile is definitely worth trying out. This book is now in my wish list at Amazon as well.
I have to say I love those booties!

Absolutely the Hooded Capelet!!!!
Gorgeous and I have the perfect yarn for it too <3
I have a friend who is expecting her first baby girl in a couple of months and she would look adorable in the little Swing Set No 92 jacket – especially if they were paired up with those pretty little shoes …
All these items are wonderful but i would i really love to make the hooded capelet. I dont have a daughter but i know many girls on the way and this would make a wonderful baby shower gift 🙂
I would like to do the Soft Owl Pillow pattern!!! It looks awesome!
Little Man Vest and the cape. So cute! I really want this book.
Everything is so cute!! A friend just had a baby and the birdie mobile would be perfect!
Wow, so many cute things, don’t know where to begin! I think I’m torn between the jungle ball and the beanie hats…or maybe that sweet blue cardi!
Swing Set Cardigan – super cute!
I love the mix and match blanket, so colorful and pretty!
I love the Ribbed Cardigan, it’s so cute and I have a niece that would look adorable in it!
I just adore the Star Booties pattern! Would so love to try my hand at making these! What an awesome design!
I love the sweet daisy dress! I have some friends who are expecting a little girl (finally a girl to make for). I’d love to make this for her!
There are quite a few I like, but I “fav’d” the Ribbed Cardigan on Ravelry as soon as I saw it!! 🙂
The Sunshine Blanket is great!
