When it starts warming up, it’s a great time to grab a book and head outside to enjoy the sunshine. If you have to run in for a drink, keep your page with a pretty floral bookmark. The petals make a fun, cute way to work on bobbles, and the whole bookmark is easy to make, so you’ll be out there with your new find or old favorite in no time.

This bracelet is a quick accessory that is easy to adjust for smaller or larger wrists and is perfect for wearing with sundresses. Shells always seem to make any pattern look more delicate, and the pearl bead closure is an even daintier touch. Feel free to make a bunch in different colors! |

The mesh cardigan sweater is light weight and great for layering. The sweater is crocheted from the top down with no sewing required (other than the buttons). It can be made in 9 different sizes from X-Small to 5X. Try it on as you go to ensure the proper fit. The sweater is intended to have a tight fit, but if a looser fit is desired simply crochet the next size up. As an adjustable sweater, you can make the sleeves as long or short as you like to create short sleeves or long sleeve.

You know spring has arrived when flowers and trees begin budding and blossoming. It’s a time that brings a joy to our hearts and adds a little extra spring to our step. The crochet pattern for today is a simple daisy. The stamen of the flower is created in two parts and the petals are added afterward. If you don’t already have an idea of what you want to do with your flower(s), here’s a few suggestions: attach one to a headband, wear it as a pin on your clothes, or make a bunch and lay around your house for decoration! Let me know what you decide to do! |

I am very excited to share a technique I recently rediscovered while working on my newest crocheted shawl for spring. The technique is called “double stranding.” It is actually quite simple and it can really come in handy when you’re trying to stash down (as I still am doing!)
