Thanks to Corinne, Crochet Spot’s newest writer, we have 2 skeins of Gala Yarn to giveaway! The skeins of Gala Yarn are a blend of fun colors and a mix of varies fibers.

To enter the giveaway, leave a comment below on this post telling us what patterns/tutorials you’d like to see on Crochet Spot. We’re always looking for new ideas and would love your input! Please stay on subject and only comment one time (one entry per person), multiple comments will be deleted.

All participants must be either a Crochet Spot Newsletter subscriber or a Premium Pattern Member at the time the winner is drawn. If you are neither, feel free to sign up for the newsletter or a membership.

    I love this site! This is where I learned to crochet, the tutorials are wonderful. I am always refering people to this site and I use your tutorials when teaching my friends. Thank you so much for all the great free patterns, you’ve really helped me to fall in love with hooking!
    I would really like to see a tutorial on slip stitch crochet with lots of pics. I’ve seen examples and the fabric is so cozy with a lovey drape, I just can’t seen to figure it out.

    More gift giving ideas, ponchos, those cute outfits photographers take newborn pictures in! Really anything you come up will be great! It’s nice to see all the different patterns and clear consise tutorials. My mom tried to teach me to crochet several times over the years and if it weren’t for your website I still wouldn’t understand! Now I’m the one showing her how to read patterns and how to do the different stiches 🙂

    oh what beautiful colors in that yarn! love your blog- I always get inspired or learn something. I would like to see more on invisible joining granny squares. my seams are lumpy and I can’t figure out why

    I am continually looking for new ideas for basic items. Right now my interests have shifted towards scarves, cowls, and bags, but I also like to browse other types of patterns for inspiration. I agree with Maura that tutorials on joining and other tricky techniques would be useful. I’m never happy with my joins, either :-/

    I would love to see a great pattern that explains how to crochet socks (these yarns would be perfect for that) and more amigurumi. I would also like to see a cute apron pattern, too, please. 🙂

    More amigurumi! Also more clothes, like cover-ups, shrugs, and cardigans. There aren’t nearly enough of them here.

    And maybe small easy patterns with the harder stitches like cable, tunisian crochet, and other stitches for practice.

    And more variety in bag types. The ones on here right now are all mostly feminine, maybe some more unisex bags, like messenger bags or something.

    I would love to see a video on crocheted socks. It is something I have struggled with…. I was told you can only knit socks if you don’t know how to knit buy a sock loom …..which I did….and it is in the closet where I put it 3 years ago.

    I love the idea of boot topper patterns that use buttons as a focal point. Also am intrigued by the crocodile stitch and would love to see a skirt pattern for little girls and tween girls. I can see what I want, but need the confidence to try it! Thanks for the giveaway!

  39. I would love to see a pattern and tutorial on a top down adult cardigan with sleeves that doesn’t look like a sack. But I would love to see it down for beginner to intermediate crocheters. I am all shawled out! But I live in a warm weather climate and at times we need a cardigan that is not too heavy or made with bulky yarns.

    I’d like to see fingerless gloves, esp telling us how to make them large enough to fit over another pair of regular gloves. How to make a “one size fits all” pattern larger. Pet items. Diaper covers. Combining crocheting with beading.
