Hi,
Thanks for all your help (patterns and knowledge).

thank you
I like to crochet just about anything (I suppose I’m an experienced crocheter), however, I find that lately I have become an impatient crocheter. I like to see quick results … so I’d love to see patterns for quick-to-finish projects and amigurumi =). I see myself making a great scarf with the yarn from this giveaway.
Hi Rachel – you have a great newsletter; I like the friendly atmosphere. I have recently decided to step out of my comfort zone and try making things that are not square. 🙂 Your article about hats in this week’s newsletter has come at just the right time – I am going to give the beanie and the slouchy banie a try first, but I want to make all of the hats in your article. I have been looking for a hat with matching scarf pattern in crochet. Any chance you could come up with something like that in a future newsletter? Also, how about an article about Tunisian crochet? I have tried (only once) to teach myself how to do it – it didn’t go very well. One side (selvage) was great, but the other was pretty wonky. Thanks for letting us give our input, and if I win the yarn, I’ll use to make some hats!
I would love to see more baby items. Even though I already have 3 Great-grandchildren, I have started a Hope Chest for future Greats. In case I’m no longer here, they will know they had a Great-grandma (Nana) who loved them.
Lady bugs, easy flowers, and easy skarves!!!
I would like to see patterns for 70s inspired bell bottom leg warmers or 60 inspired anything. Also more hat patterns 😀
I love fingerless mitts and would love to see more patterns. Thanks for all you share!
Vintage owls. And pillows. Now that I think of it, an owl pillow would be wonderful 🙂
I would like to see tutorials and patterns for Tunisian/afghan stitch in not just the basic stitches but some of the lacier shell stitches. And also ideas in handling the little problems in crocheting that crop up here and there. I would also love to read a discussion about the equipment (hooks: differences between the different brands, their styles and designs of the hooks and what they are best suited for. The same thing with yarns, a discussion on their fibers, which wears better, pillage issues, and issues in using them. For instance, I recently bought quite a few skeins of a brand of yarn and struggled using it cause the process seemed to be fighting the texture of the yarn and ended up frustrated and feeling like I wasted my money. I love visiting your blog for the different patterns and tutorials and articles from yourself and your guest writers. You have some very creative ideas.

I have been crocheting hats and blankets for the Ronald McDonald House. I need patterns for hats that boys of all ages would wear.

Tunisian crochet patterns because it offers a twist on the ordinary and it is probably something that few people have tried. I think it also offers a good background for colour work and embroidery.
When I think of what I look forward to when I read Crochet Spot or any other crochet publication, I am always looking for:
-new ideas/inspiration
-quick and easy patterns
-useful items
Some of my favorite patterns I have found here and elsewhere were: gift bags, soap-dish pads, cell phone cover, popcorn stitch tutorial, easy shrug, and more. For me, I just want to look at the picture and do it my own way; but I want the inspiration or idea to help me get started.

As an older lady (will be 83 in December) with atrhritic hands, it is almost impossible for me to crochet for long periods of time. I lose patience with projects that require a long time tstrech out over long periods of time. I enjoy scarves, hats , purse, tote bags which are quick and simple.
I am always interesting in trying different types of yarn. The yarn you are offering sounds like it would be great for hats or scarves.
I would like to see unusual hats.
It would be nice if you had a cool ,mesh crochet simple shrug!
